So first of all happy Friday and go ahead and park a hashtag in front of it or the Struggle is Real when none of your friends can come out and play but that’s ok when folks are busy I don’t suffer long!
I had plenty of tremendous tunes to keep me in good spirits. We heard from our best today with Zane, Aaron, Blake and even good Ole Johnny cash who says if you take one piece at a time over a long spell, GM will never notice!
Speaking of pieces, I’ve got 18,17,16, and 15 of October , the Re-Cap Rundown . Monday’s topic we talked about an article from adage saying that the music industry is better than ever and also stating that Spotify has created it’s own giant , towering over many other streaming services.
Tuesday we sat in the corner and nursed wounds with wailing tunes, mourning the blues and finding recovery through Melodic Therapy.
Wednesday wouldn’t you know it a Dittys a Ditty and that’s a ballad !
I’ll have you know if it’s good enough, it’ll be served at our table right along with the taters and gravy oh and by the way Cody went fishing up at Pickle Creek Dam but I guess that’s something you don’t understand. (Cody Cannon, Ballad of a Southern Man)
Thursday we got caught in the reeds and met a water snake named “I’ll take that.” He was beady eyed and Legalistic.
We were showing a little concern over the musical challenges venues and artists are facing today in order to try get up on the stage sing a tune or two or take home some bread and butter and let me tell you many times Tommy Tucker goes to bed without his supper but he keeps on singing for the love of music.
That’s what we do.
That’s who we are.
We are the little station that could.
We are .
Because of folks like you and all the love you share for our artists.
